Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station to Darjeeling

This is the Day 1 of your journey with us. Our associate will meet you at the Airport/NJP station as you get ready for a beautiful experience. This 2045 mtrs of ascend to Darjeeling Town is full of scenic beauty. From lush tea gardens to waterfalls, you will come across everything. The car will drop you at your Hotel where a hassle-free check-in will let you rest after a long journey. The Hotel will welcome our newlyweds with bouquet of fresh flowers. The room will be decorated with complimentary candle light dinner and some wine.

Day 2: Darjeeling Sight-Seeing

Your day begins at 4 a.m. where you will be taken to Tiger Hill for the sunrise. Experience the bliss when the sun rises above the horizon painting the
sky orange and the majestic view of Mt.Kanchenjunga will definitely take your breathe away. On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery famous for
its 4.57 mts statue of Maithreya Buddha. Your next stop is Batasia Loop famous for its Garden, War Memorial and the mesmerizing view of
Darjeeling town. After the breakfast aat your Hotel, following are the remaining points:
* Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda – showcasing classic Japanese style of architecture amidst serene and peaceful environment.
* Zoo & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute – known for its conservation breeding programs for endangered species such as the snow leopard,
red panda, Tibetan wolf, and Himalayan salamander. The zoo also has other animals such as the Siberian tiger, Himalayan black bear, barking deer,
and many species of birds. HMI is a museum that displays the gears used by Tenzing Sherpa & Sir Edmund Hillary when they conquered Mt.Everest
in 1953.
* Chitrey/Happy Valley Tea Garden – along with breathtaking view, you can understand the process of preparing the famous Darjeeling Tea & buy some
souvenirs for you friends & family back home.
* Tenzing Rock – named after Tenzing Sherpa, thrill seekers can try scaling this huge rock.
* Ropeway – this 5 kms long(both way) ropeway offers spectacular view of the valley, lush tea gardens, waterfalls ,forest & snow capped mountain.
* Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre – established in 2nd Oct 1959, it is a rehabilitation center for Tibetan refugees.
* Rock Garden & Gangamaya Park – located at Chunnu Summer Falls and famous for the view of tea garden on the way.
After a long and adventurous day, your Day 1 with us comes to an end. The car will drop you at your Hotel and after resting a bit, you can explore the
Darjeeling town. Visit Mall Road,Glenary’s Keventers, the evening is at your disposal.

Day 3: Lamahatta and Tinchuley

Your day begins at 9 a.m. The driver will receive you at the Hotel and take you to the outskirts of Darjeeling away from the hustle & bustle and towards
more peaceful environment. Here are the places you will cover :
* Lamahatta – Lamahatta is famous for its well manicured garden and parks. The garden is spread over a wide expanse, surrounded by pine forests
containing numerous seasonal flowers, as well as several rare and exotic species of orchids. Lamahatta is a place where you find yourself blending
with nature.
* Gumbadara View Point – where you will be treated to a stunning vista that includes the majestic Mt Kanchanjungha range and parts of the Sikkim
mountains (Namchi and Samdupse range) to the north. Towards the east, you can admire the picturesque Kalimpong hills. If you direct your gaze
towards the valley, you’ll witness the confluence of the Rangeet and Teesta rivers far below.
* Tinchuley – Tinchuley is mainly famous for the exotic view of sunrise from the Tinchuley Sunrise point, from this point one can see the Teesta valley,
Kalimpong, Eastern and western Sikkim, Latpanchar and the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas.
* Lopchu Bazar – a small bazaar where you can try some local made sweets & snacks.
This ends todays schedule. You will be taken back to your Hotel and the rest of the evening is at your disposal.

Day 4: Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station drop
